Great experience at McK’s. Came on a recommendation from a local distillery, was not disappointed! Prices are great and food quality top tier. The Guinness Stew is massive and delicious! The French Dip was wonderful, and the Fish-n-Chips was some of the best fried fish we have had in the area. The Conners Irish Red beer and Beach Street Blonde beer were also delicious. Great Job, McK’s!

February 2025: McK's Tavern is great place to eat. I have never been there when it wasn't bustling. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. I noticed pet companions with customers in the outdoor area. The menu offers traditional, hearty, Irish fare, but also 1/2 pound hamburgers. Check out the specials on Sundays and Thursdays. Their food is delicious! There is diagonal street parking in front, but abundant public parking in rear of the building. There is also a rear entrance. The one aspect that I didn't care for was self seating. There was quite a few people waiting. I didn't want to be rude, but felt the need to be assertive to obtain a table. People would walk right past us to a table if a party was about to leave. Regardless, I go back because I enjoy the atmosphere and good food.

Food was really good and fairly priced. The lighting at the tables was horrible. The people behind us made comments too (they made their comment to the waiter but we weren't about to give up our seating) that it's eye level and right in your face with the dark room. I didn't like that you had to seat yourself. People were hounding others for seats and no one could say who was there first. We almost left due to this. The atmosphere is kid friendly, but loud. We would go here again but not on a weekend or evening since we don't want to fight for a seat.

Fortunately we got there a little early as we understand it can draw a crowd. Big roomy booth, attentive servers and live music to boot. We heard the corned beef and cabbage was the bomb....with potato's and carrots as well. As there is always 1 in every crowd the beef and cheddar hot Sammi was great as well! Take home boxes for everyone Heard it also gets crowded prior to a ballgame. Parking was easy but it was filling up rapidly.

We stopped at Mck’s Tavern on the way to get my ears pierced for my birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect surprise. We were starving, and this place hit the spot in every way. The service was absolutely amazing—friendly, fast, and welcoming. The restaurant was super clean, which made the whole experience even better. I ordered the BLT, and wow—what a sandwich! It was huge, and every ingredient was just right. The bacon was cooked to perfection—crispy but not overdone. The tomato was sliced perfectly and fresh, and the whole thing came out hot and fresh like it had just come off the grill. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. Perfect food, great people, and a clean, comfortable place to relax. I’ll definitely be back!

McK's is and Irish restaurant And what an AMAZING restaurant this is NOW, before I get to the review, There are so many festivals going on and McKs Is right smack in the middle of them..... AWESOME The food is not just your typical Irish dishes it certainly a mix of American meals When you walk in there is a sign that reads: walk in and sit yourself (there is a funny sign that says: Help wanted all can apply but the IRISH Funny huh? I laughed more because Mark is Irish There are both high and low booths and tables and at the bar seating ***Unless you're EXTREMELY tall they have a booth that is just right for you*** Mark is 5'10 and it comes to his chest. My cute height is 5'1 (when I stand up straight) it comes just below my chin AND my feet do not reach the floor The " regular couple" were smiley at us waiting to see how long we will sit there before moving Thanks a lot Diane and Paul Oh my lord, what a great Inexpensive dishes that offer On Mondays they have a rib special for only $13.99 (As of this writing) Apparently, they also have different specials on different days. I can not remember what they were now but I know on Sundays they $6.00 hamburgers Wait until you see my pictures below They "RIBS" we decided to have were awesome and our meals came out quickly I tell you this is a fun restaurant. Not only are the servers (Thank you Arley) happy and friendly, the patrons are also. We befriended those (little stinkers) Diane and Paul who proceeded to be excellent new found friends ( I think they are but maybe they were being polite BLAAH) (They didn't sneak out the back door so I think all is good... Again, BLAAH) They have TVs with games going on so if you're a fan of hanging out at the bar will have a great time there If you follow my reviews (and please do because I'm awesome and I'm not a paid reviewer) is a HIGHLY must recommendion for you visit to downtown Tourists you will have an AMAZING experience. Thank you McK's for your hospitality WE are NOW regulars too

Met an old friend to catch up and had an absolutely delightful experience. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Wait staff was attentive and regularly checked on us. Food was delicious and so was the beer. Definitely recommend a flight so you can try more of the locally brewed beers. Picked up a cigar next door for a complete experience.

We were in town for an appointment and decided to get lunch here since we enjoy Irish pub food. There is an outdoor patio for smokers and people with pets, and also indoor seating in booths and at the bar. Our server was Emily. My husband ordered starters: potato skins, bavarian pretzels, and mac&cheese eggrolls. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a roast beef cheddar sandwich. The potato skins and pretzels were ready within minutes and delicious the clam chowder was excellent with soft chunks of red potatoes. The sandwich arrived soon after, and the appetizers were so filling that we were only able to finish 1/3 of it - we took the rest to go. We also ordered 2 Cokes no ice and they were a bit flat. Other than semi-flat fountain drinks, the order was tasty and great. As a side note, my husband mentioned that the men's restroom was a bit odd that there were no dividers between the urinals, and they were too close to one another. As a 6 foot+ tall guy, he said he was lucky to be alone in the bathroom since it would be awkward to rub elbows with someone by mistake. The women's restroom was fine except for the 2nd stall that did not have a lock, so I used a different one. The tavern lost 1 star on atmosphere due to the bathrooms. Overall, the ambience is a bustling Irish tavern, hardwood flooring, and cozy booth seating. There was 90s rock music playing throughout our meal, so someone is a fan of that. We didn't mind as we grew up listening to Nirvana and NIN on the radio. The bar itself was neat, and there seemed to be a lot of interesting beers on tap. We were fortunate to get there before the lunch / pre-dinner crowd, so there were only about 5 tables occupied and 2 bar guests. When we were paying for our order, we realized that our mac&cheese eggrolls didn't arrive and they weren't on our bill, so we will definitely be back to order n taste those :) Total cost was around $77 with a healthy cash tip. Excellent price for the generous amount / fresh quality of food and friendly customer service. Thanks for a good foodie experience.
